    Atlas Blue vs. Stone Blue

I prefer the Atlas Blue. I was debating between Atlas Blue and Rapid Red years ago. Ask yourself which color do you still see yourself enjoying after 10 years of owning?

Mine was just checked out today (1/20). No issue found with the weld. Manufacture date on my ST 09/2019

What don't you like about your ST?

Lack of hardware power in the infotainment system. It lags due to that Execution of the camera system in 10 inch portrait screen. If the bleeping Mustang Mach-E software can stack the 360 picture & the forward/reverse view, why couldn't they do that on a Sync 3 update. Sync 3 wastes so much...

    New guy, 2020 vs 2021?

Thank you for the update. I had read it was possible Ford would be updating the 21 Explorers with Sync 4, but it wasn't official. Ford obviously decided to delay any implementation of Sync 4 in the Explorer line up until later.

    New guy, 2020 vs 2021?

I would say the biggest difference would be if the 2021 has Sync 4. The 2020 have Sync 3 for sure and it's a bit lacking. They also made the running change in May 2020 that allow 2020s post change to earn top IIHS pick...

What would you have purchased if there were no Explorer ST?

About 1 year ago, I was down to the Explorer ST and a 2018 Dodge Durango SRT. It was really close between those 2, but the ST won on more of the little things even though the SRT had a slight edge on the power train. I miss the rumble of that bad ass 6.4L, but I enjoy the 21 MPG and the 360...

    New Driveshaft Related Recall

Ford issued a new recall this week for potential faulty drives hats in some Explorers and Aviators https://www.bizjournals.com/losangeles/news/2020/11/13/ford-recalls-more-than-12-000-chicago-built-explor.html

How many miles did your Explorer ST have when you bought it?

470 miles. Pretty sure mine was one of those sent to Flat Rock to remedy the early assembly issues of the Chicago assembly plant. No issues over 12,000 miles so far outside the same complaints about the power of the infotainment system hardware.
