    Bluecruise

Thanks. Unfortunately, if I had any virtues, patience would not be one of them. :(

    Bluecruise

Thanks for the reply. I saw this and have 1.2 version. I have read that there is a 1.4 and 1.5 version for the for some Ford models. So my question is will there be an upgrade to these later versions for our ST?

    Gun Safe

Has anyone tried the WASAI Center Console Gun Safe?

    Bluecruise

Does anyone know if Ford is going to ever offer an upgrade to Bluecruise? I picked up my new 2025 in early February, and the last upgrade that I can see Ford made to the system was sometime in mid 2024.

    Mapping Not Working

Since my original post on March 30, I have had no repeat of the problem...until yesterday. I implemented the same fix as before, which worked fine. However, this may be a recurring problem.

    Recall

I do note that this only applies to vehicles made "December 2023 and September 2024" and with the base 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine. I suspect that most ST owners in 2025 have the 3.0 engine.

    Recall

Anyone else seen this Yes, there is a recall for certain 2025 Ford Explorer ST models due to a potential powertrain control module (PCM) issue. The PCM could intermittently reset while driving, potentially causing loss of power, difficulties shifting into park, or even the transmission...

    Mapping Not Working

Great suggestion! I tried it and it worked. Everything is back to normal. For those with the same problem, while the ST is running, put it in park and push and hold the power button which is the center of the volume knob. Everything will go black for a few seconds. Then it will reload and power...

    Mapping Not Working

I see that you have a 2021 model ST. The problem may be unique to our 2025 model.

    Mapping Not Working

Well, I guess the good news is that it may be a system wide issue, and not something unique to my ST.

    Mapping Not Working

On my 2025 ST, when I go to My View, then Map View, on the instrument cluster, I now get "Map Source Not Available" instead of the map. Mapping works fine on the info display, but just stopped working on the dash. Any thoughts?

    Build quality

I have 1900 miles on my new ST, and have not found any issues whatsoever. As for warranty, the dealer included at no charge a ten year 200,000 power train warranty. And as others have said, it is a lot of fun to drive.

    Oil Change

My new 2025 has about 1400 miles on it. The dealer said I do not have to change oil. As an old guy, I remember that we always changed oil with a new car after about a thousand miles. The dealer says today not necessary. Thoughts?

    Auto Stop

My new ST has about 1200 miles on it. The auto stop has ceased working correctly. Sometimes it does not come on at all at a stop, other times when it does come it, it shuts off before I touch brake/accelerator. I kind of have mixed feelings about this. I know some here have paid real money to...

    Stop Start Eliminator

Haas anyone tried this product? It looks easy enough to install that even I could do it. https://www.4dtech.com/explorer-2025-start-stop-eliminator/#reviewsHeading
