Bumping as I need to tap the front turn signal wires as well. Anyone have any luck with locating where to tap turn signals up front?

Gen 6 Explorer Headlight assembly cost

Wanted to revive this thread instead of starting a new one. The amber turn signal in my driver's side headlight just went out. Is there an easy way to tell if it's the LED lights themselves that went bad versus the ballast? Is there not a separate ballast for the turn signal itself? Would...

    Cold Air Intake

Totally agree. Even aftermarket vs aftermarket has differences. Does the S&B flow the best? Yes. Does the Fenfab sound the best? Yes. The Fenfab was expensive for just the noise but I sure am glad I have it now. I love the way this thing sounds!

ANYONE running SBfilter hot & cold side piping??

In terms of BOV VOLUME, I've seen it described as, from quietest to loudest, Tial > Raceport > HKS. I can only vouch for HKS as that's what I have, aside from the VTA spacer prior, and you definitely won't like it if you want quiet.

ANYONE running SBfilter hot & cold side piping??

Not sure exactly what the afe rep is getting at TBH. But if you're replacing hotside and have a 2020 then you'll need the charge pipe with BOV.

ANYONE running SBfilter hot & cold side piping??

I believe it's part #13 that gets removed with the intake install.

ANYONE running SBfilter hot & cold side piping??

I installed Fenfab's cold side and HKS BOV at the same time as my v2 intake, but I'm pretty sure only installing the intake will force you to essentially be VTA as the tube connecting the factory hotside pipe to the stock intake is removed when installing the Fenfab intake. I'm not positive, but...

    "Clack" Sound In Reverse

I also get a single clack noise only when shifting into reverse. Mine doesn't happen every single time but often enough to notice. I bought the car used with only 7k miles on it but has done it since I've owned the vehicle.

ANYONE running SBfilter hot & cold side piping??

If you have a 2020 then yeah the Fenfab intake eliminates the pipe connecting the hotside to the factory intake, so you'll essentially be forced to convert to a BOV by venting off the hotside.

    Bruce's Silver Spruce Metalic ST

Yeah it definitely is quite audible. And again, just like with exhaust, intake volume is going to be subjective. The way others have talked about the Fenfab, I thought this thing was going to be crazy loud so I was a little disappointed when I first installed it. However, I've come to love it...

    Bruce's Silver Spruce Metalic ST

If you're looking at an intake and have money to spend, then I'd recommend Fenfab's v2 intake. Might be just as minimal of gains as other intakes but it's biggest selling point IMO is the way it sounds.

    Part confirmation

For those of you that have removed your front bumpers, is part #7 the two bolts (on each side) holding the bumper cover on? These are the bolts that are difficult to reach. Site for reference. I want to get replacement bolts as the heads on 2 of them are a little stripped. I have a...

PSA for those with Aftermarket Exhaust
