    2023 ford explorer st

I went with black. Can't tell there's anything out of the ordinary when you're looking at it.

    2023 ford explorer st

I have the CVFab intercooler and it has worked flawlessly through 3 Vegas summers. I did FenFab charge pipe (cold side only). I also have CVFab downpipes which have been great, and I'm really happy with the sound hooked to my Thermal 2.5" exhaust.

    New member, No car yet

Welcome to the group, and hopefully to the ST world soon! I'll most likely be putting my ST up for sale in the next couple months if you're looking for a nice low miles truck that's already done. Best of luck with your search either way.

Axle back exhaust options for 2025 ST

It was super simple. I ended up taking it to a shop b/c I waned it done "right now" and wouldn't have been able to do it myself for another week or so. They insisted on welding it, but it came with 2 clamps so the welding isn't necessary.

Axle back exhaust options for 2025 ST

None at all. Gave it a nice deeper tone outside, and you could barely tell anything was different on the inside.

Axle back exhaust options for 2025 ST

I originally had the Gibson kit on my ST and loved the way it sounded, but ended up switching it out to a full system when I decided to to downpipes and other mods.

    Exhaust Choices

I have the Thermal 2.5" with CVF downpipes and get no drone at all, and only gets loud when I put my foot into it.

    Thermal R&D 2.5" vs. 3"

I have the Thermal 2.5 with downpipes and have absolutely no drone, nor is it loud inside the truck. I love this setup!

    Ford Performance Driving Experience

I did Park City a couple years ago and had a great time. Would definitely go again if I end up getting another ST.

    Blue Cruise Experience

I've easily got over 30k miles of hands free BlueCruise over the past 3 years and needless to say I'm a fan. I travel for work and it really makes a difference on those long drives. Don't really use it much for the short highway commutes around town, but when I'm getting out of town it's a...

    Ceramic Coating Sprays

I did a bunch of research a few years ago for a product to use on my Blackwing and decided on the Hybrid Solutions...and it worked great for the whole time I had the car. Like @Chamorro85 said, I did spend quite a bit of time prepping it, and it didn't necessarily live a hard life, but it stood...

    Shops in Phoenix

You might want to try The Custom Shop at Sanderson Ford in Glendale. But if you don't have any luck down there...the shop that does all the work on my ST and Bronco here in Vegas does a great job.

    Wheel Spacers

I have 1.25's on the rear and stock fronts. Originally put 1.25's on the front too but felt it pushed them out a little too far for my liking, so I took them off.

assuming a new ST will be good light off-roading

Me too, but we got lucky the day of. It was a beautiful day until it started sprinkling at the end of the day during the autocross...then poured the whole way back to the hotel and all the way down the hill on my way to the airport.

assuming a new ST will be good light off-roading

Except for when I was there . They had some serious storms come through the week before and some of the trails got flooded/washed out. Thought for sure that was enough get them to let me come back, but I was wrong. LOL
