2025 Ford Explorer ST engine dies as soon as I put in gear

Computers and software are lovely aren't they? Especially when authored and serviced by third party vendors who use contracted resources. Can render a beautifully tuned V6 useless (I'd say V8 but we don't use them anymore)

2025 Explorer Hands Free Tailgate Release

Really don't mind the hand free is gone, but what really gets me going is the fact I have to hit the magic button on the tailgate 1 to 2...or 2 times...or 3 minus 1 times to get it to open properly. Infuriating. Give me my old Escape with the manual gate.

25 ST Powertrain Malfunction / Reduced Power

Ford corporate recently pushed this software update to my vehicle remotely without me needing to go to the dealer - imagine that, Ford utilizing modern technology?! Drives so much better. 25 ST Powertrain Malfunction / Reduced Power

Fit and finish has always been an issue (crooked hood, paint blemishes, epoxy on the rear windows, etc.)...

Anyone have a 25 ST yet?

Just took delivery of a '25. I had a '22 custom ordered and loved it slate blue, 401A tricked out. As always with a Ford, fit and finish is variable - the hood needed realignment (Chicago, go figure). Kid on a phone rear-ended my old one at 50+ mph - I drove away, other two vehicles destroyed...

Considering 2025 ST but concerned with reliability

Just took delivery of a '25. I had a '22 custom ordered and loved it slate blue, 401A tricked out. Some kid on a phone rear-ended me at 50+ mph - I drove away, other two vehicles destroyed. Ultimately it was totalled, but I was able to drive away because of the reinforced frame. Not a piece...
