The option is not a must for me. My truck has it and I found that I used it more than I thought I would. I wouldn't have it installed if they door would need to be completely disassembled or if I am not confident in the service departments abilities.

Picked ours up about a week ago. Rapid red metallic with the black roof. Replaced a 2014 Limited with it. This one definitely has better reaction when stepping on the gas. I always thought the '14' was pretty sluggish when extra power was needed. I do have a question on the door keypad...
