    Spark Plug Change

Thanks for the quick response. I'll go get a swivel adaptor and try to find a job guide on youtube.

    Spark Plug Change

Christ Almighty how hard is it to change these plugs? Local shops quoting me $400-$500 and the dealership wanted $300. What tools do I need to buy just to do it myself?

I need to change the spark plugs but local shops are trying to charge upwards of $500 for the job. Is it really that hard?

You're going to be told to install the defoulers which cost like $40 for a pair of them. I unfortunately had them installed two weeks ago and now have the same CEL. There's always a chance it could be a bad o2 sensor but I kind of doubt it based on timing. I didn't have this issue until the DP's...

The CEL is back after defouler install. Same code. At least it worked long enough to get it past emissions. Can anyone let me know if the SPD downpipes will avoid this issue? The whoosh were the right price but I can't ride around with a check engine light on all the time on principle alone.

OK it passed. I think I've pretty much bolted everything onto this car that I can (except new turbos). Time to send off the last data log to ZFG and see what it does.

Had to put the defoulers in. Not sure if it will pass emissions, I'm going by tomorrow to take the plunge. Hopefully I don't have to take these things out to get the car registered legally. Fast as shit though.

Yeah you said that before but if they ditched the necessary parts do you sell them?

It's definitely something with the CAT's but the code itself (which I only checked through the Ford app) doesn't specify. Just "a problem with the catalytic converter".

If they didn't install the spacers how much to get a second set? Or how much to get replacement O2 sensors?

So I guess I wasn't done after all. Got a link to some defoulers? Thanks for the quick response.

Got these installed and picked it up this morning. Immediately get a CEL on the way home. Says its a problem with the catalytic converter. Anyone else have a similar issue?

Of course the downpipes get installed and immediately throw a CEL for the cats. Anyone else have the same issue?
