    Anyone using RaceChip GTS

For BoostMax or RaceChip, when you remove the harness and go "back to stock", can the dealer or manufacturer tell it was once installed? Are there any electronic artifacts left anywhere in any onboard system? I am planning to purchase a CPO 2020 ST and am curious if the previous owner used...

Anyone have warranty trouble yet becuase of mods?

Hopefully not off topic.... Last summer my APR tuned GTI threw it's balance shaft. Chunks of metal in the oil pan. The engine had 30,000 miles on it. I took it to a VW dealer. After waiting for 3 months for a new engine to arrive (due to the worldwide Covid over-reaction), VW replaced the...

I'm not sure what you mean by "fuel funnel"

Thinking of buying a previous Buyback

I drove the ST yesterday and spent a lot of time checking it out. I'm still deciding but am leaning towards buying it. I did notice the the build date on the driver's side B-pillar was different than what was on the window sticker. 7/19 on the vehicle vs 8/9/19 on the sticker. I verified the...

Thinking of buying a previous Buyback

I'll update as I go. I plan to go see the 2020 ST on Saturday. It's about a 1.5 hour drive and if I feel comfortable, I'll buy it then. They also have new 2021 on the lot to compare it to. On the other CPO 2020s I've seen, they are in the $46,000ish range with more miles.

Great job helping out!! This covid overreaction is unfortunately impacting all the great things we had going on in our country in a negative way. It seems to be enhancing the broken parts of society at the same time. Not being political. Just being a realist.

Thinking of buying a previous Buyback

The CPO 2020 price is listed as $42,000. I think I can get that down another $1500. The closest equivalently equipped 2021 I can find is priced at about $55,000. Not sure if I can get that down. Maybe get it down close to $52,000? Not good with math in public. I guess the difference is...

Another piece to the puzzle. Does anyone know what the acronyms "CLP" and "OSL" mean?

Thanks! Hopefully my service and the service of so many others will matter. So much going on in our country.

Thinking of buying a previous Buyback

I understand what you are saying and that what I'm thinking long and hard about. I just went through getting a new engine under warranty in my VW last summer. Took 3 months for the new engine to arrive during the Covid overreaction. Three months in a loaner vehicle.

Thinking of buying a previous Buyback

I understand and agree. Being a CPO vehicle gives me some reassurance that the dealerships will like me coming in for issues under warranty (more billable hours back to Ford). I'm not big on life disruptions while its in for service though.

Thanks! I'll definitely ensure it's been done.

Thinking of buying a previous Buyback

I'm thinking about just that. The price difference between this one and a new one is about $13,000. I'm a deal hunter but wonder if its worth the headache.

The previous owner must have been an attorney.
