Baxter Performance spin on filter adapter

That start-up clatter you describe sounds like a cam phaser issue.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

I added the Steeda transmission mount insert. I got it done in less than an hour. No NVH.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

I went from 3" thermal (with a ripped downpipe!) to whoosh downpipes. It made it a bit louder. Perhaps too loud, but I gotta live with it now.

    FS FS: Thermal 3” exhaust

Do you think both could have fit near the thermal resonator? Any issues with the resonators not being symmetrically in the same location on the driver and passenger side?

Do you remember what length resonator you were able to fit? I think this section of the thermal has a clamp there.

    Did the Lincoln screen swap

That looks pretty good, do you have a link to the part? Which Carlinkit did you order?

    Carroll Shelby CS10 (20x9.5, 37mm offset)

This is the only one I currently have: I'm glad I got them when I did at $259. I just checked and they are $465 now.

New fueling option for the Explorer - Port Injection

Pros: This will keep your intake valves clean, can probably make more power than upgrading the HPFP and DI injectors Cons: You are adding a somewhat complex fuel system, the fuel controller has to be tuned for separately, there is a risk since many components of this system could potentially...

CPE Catted Downpipes with cast bellmouths?

I think my tuner has these for his wife's Explorer, but sitting in his garage. He'll probably put out a video once it's installed.

    Resonator Advice Please

This is exactly what I want to do. Did you do it yourself, or did a shop do it? The only issue I have is that I have these downpipes, and I'm not sure how I could remove the heatshielding on my own:

    Resonator Advice Please

Are those custom midpipes, or the ones from Thermal?

You have a Thermal 2.5", right? How much difference did the bottle style resonator make?

    Resonator Advice Please

I would love to be able to do the install myself. I think I'd just have to peel back the heat shield, mark where to cut on both the DP and the midpipe, and use butt joints. Part of me would prefer to have a shop do it, but I feel the cost will be pretty high, maybe 600+.

    Resonator Advice Please

Ultra Quiets will be the most effective at reducing the volume and taking out some of the harsh frequencies. However, it looks like you may need to cut some of the DP and some of the midpipe to make it fit. In another thread, I saw someone install the non-ultra quiet version of the resonators...

Very nice! Did you go with the Vibrant 3" diameter that is 12" long? That would be 1794. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/vpe-1794 Do you have any sound clips? Is it quieter in the cabin now?
