    Catalytic Converter Cracking

Interesting. I had the smell once in the exploder but couldn't replicate it. Got a whiff of it after gunning it on the highway Is the smell constant/more frequent for the ones with the bad flex pipe>

Why we didn't buy an Explorer ST, and other various thoughts

I've had a SRT Jeep and I prefer the ST over the SRT on almost every feature and driving style. I don't get the brutish comment in comparison to the SRT. In normal drive mode the ST has some pep but isn't that aggressive but in sport mode it really shines. I felt the same way with the SRT jeep...

Premium Gas and Full Synthetic Oil..

While I'm sure the exploder would run fine on 87, I push it in sport mode so 93 it is. After dailying Raptors for years, 93 in this ST is cheap lol.

    Reconsidering Explorer ST

For sure. Drive it in sport mode around the city and the average drops pretty quickly lol. Worth it.

    Reconsidering Explorer ST

I just bought mine, so grain of salt here, but I've gone over 100 miles on the interstate already and at 80mpg it was showing 21-23mpg. Of course this is FL with no elevation changes. I was debating on buying new but found a 21 with low miles that looked very clean inside and out.
