Looking for Fasteners for transmission rebuild (W716375 S900)

I just placed an online order through them (as well as two other online retailers). The problem is those sites don't always show true inventory. For example, earlier today I placed an order through Ford Parts Center, the order was confirmed, and then canceled about an hour later by the retailer...

Looking for Fasteners for transmission rebuild (W716375 S900)

Anyone know of any dealers/retailers *selling* part number W716375-S900? Need 8 of them for a transmission rebuild, and they're virtually impossible to find for sale in western Washington. Some online retailers also appear to not have them in stock.

    Transmission issue

You're not alone. This just started happening to my family's ST yesterday. We got it in late 2019 and it has over 40,000 miles (so I guess we're lucky it lasted this long without problems). For the folks who had this repair made according to the service bulletin, how long did the repair take...

    Advice on long distance towing

Haven't made the trip yet. Getting pushed back to next summer. But the Explorer tows my 20ft aluminum boat just fine. Total weight is probably around 4000 lbs, so not sure how it would be towing a heavier package like a more modern Mustang.

    What are you guys towing?

I tow my 20ft aluminum boat and trailer with the ST. It's been great. Handles everything smoothly, and haven't noticed any high temperatures. With that said, the transmission seems a *little* slower to respond these days, so it could be due for some new transmission fluid. Otherwise, no...

    Reconsidering Explorer ST

I like the 10-inch screen. It looks funky at first, but you'll get used to it. It's especially nice when using Navigation, since it can show more of the picture of where you're actually going. My Mustang has (I think) an 8 inch screen, and every time I switch from the Explorer to the Mustang it...

    Gear indicator

Sorry, I think you're right. It only shows sport mode right after shifting. I just happen to be a little shift-happy in sport mode :)

    Gear indicator

Depends what mode you're in. If you're in Sport mode, the gear number will show inside the digital tachometer. I think this is true for Tow/Haul mode as well, and it may be true for the offroad mode(s), which I've never touched. If you're in Normal or Eco mode, it will only show what gear you're...

    Advice on long distance towing

Hey everyone - I've got a 67 Mustang that I'm looking to tow up from LA to Olympia, WA (about 1100 miles). I'm considering using my ST and renting a U-Haul car trailer. The math seems to work out (well below 5,600 lbs total, in the ballpark of 5,000). The only long distance towing I've done so...

Welcome to the Explorer ST Forum, please post an introduction

Hey everyone, I'm Joe. We've had our '20 Explorer ST for almost 2 years and I absolutely love it. (Technically it's my wife's car, but I definitely have more fun with it than she does!) Just got a boat so the ST is also our main tow vehicle because of the AWD (my RWD 2010 Ranger can barely get...
