What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Installed new tires last week. Went with Atturo 285/40 R21 AZ850s on the stock wheels. No issues whatsoever through 1kish miles. Haven't really pushed them, but they've been fine. Need to data log my rev1 tune from ZFG and get that finished up. Just about done messing with it at that point...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

As for what I'm doing with my Explorer, lots of action lately: - Installed a CV Fab intercooler. Not a hard job at all and kind of fun if you like tinkering. Didn't break anything important and had no spare parts, so a success. - Started the tuning process with ZFG. This is my first time...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

I was between a decked out Highlander and the ST when I made the purchase. I'm 100% convinced the Toyota would be a more reliable, longer lasting choice, but it was like driving a bar of soap. The ST is WAY more fun and still meets all my utilitarian needs.

FS ST Black 21" rims with tires

Are you willing to break this up? I'm an idiot and need 1 wheel.

Looked at my phone entering a parking garage and curbed a wheel pretty bad. Feel really stupid. Now wandering through a zillion wheel options. If anyone knows of a 21" OEM wheel that needs a home, holler at ya boy.

I cleaned a dropped dish of cranberry sauce off my Tux Mats. Great floor liners FTW!

Noted. I didn't have any extra hands, so had to settle for sitting the tape measure body down.

    Lowering Springs Pros and Cons

Making a slightly duplicate post here (original was over the the WHYDTYET thread) with more detail. I wound up going with Eibach for springs. First impressions (these were installed yesterday): - One of my concerns was that I would need spacers to keep my wheels from looking sunk into the...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

I did a thing. After much back and forth between Eibach and Steeda, I finally went with Eibach. Before: After: The difference is much more noticeable in person. The experience outside the car is significantly different. I'm tall and can now see over the car easily. Ingress/egress is much...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Oil change, tire rotation, and multi-point inspection at dealership. Did the catch can myself when I got home since they apparently didn't. This is about 6k miles worth. I mentioned checking transmission fluid but they said it didn't need it. Car is at a little over 17k miles. What's the hive...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Found some twisty roads and let it eat a bit. For a 5k lbs SUV with car seats in the captain chairs and a good amount of gear in the folded 3rd row cargo area, this thing is so fun to drive.

I really wish mine didn't have the roof rack. It looks so much better without it. The quotes I received to have it done are obnoxiously expensive and I don't feel that comfortable (yet?) pulling the interior apart myself.
