    FDRS for module updates

Do you still have your session log in FDRS from when you did those updates? I still have around 7 modules left and would like to see how long each module takes to install. Can’t seem to find any more TSB’s or SSM’s but I think the remaining modules might be around an hour to install?

    New Sync 3 Version 3.4.22251

Looks like there’s a new TCU update in FDRS, so I’m guessing this might address the issue.

    Rough Idle When A/C On

The TSB that fixes this issue is TSB 20-2405. Print it out and bring to the dealer with the complaint of a rough idle with AC on. Reprograming the PCM fixes this issue. It's also the fix for Safety Recall 22S27, so the dealer has two reasons to update the module.

    Wireless charger continuous malfunction

You could wait for it. It's about 3-5 min for them to update it on FDRS. The TSB pays the dealer for 18min, so it will certainly not take any longer than that!

    Wireless charger continuous malfunction

Did this on my ST and it went perfectly. It’s a common issue on all Ford cars with wireless charging pads. I did the same TSB on my Mach E

    FDRS for module updates

Would any of the members on this site with an active FDRS license be willing to check the VINs of other owners to inform them of what updates need doing? There’s a post similar on the Mach E forum that I’m on and it has over 230 pages!

2020 Explorer/Aviator Module Updates by Ford

I agree. Seems wrong to deny owners the benefit of better programming. I also own a Mach E and the dealer I go to now seems to recognize the need for updates to them. Often updating the GWM or APIM will bring a new User Interface or feature to the car. It also is a requirement for future updates...

2020 Explorer/Aviator Module Updates by Ford

You need someone who has access to FDRS. That’s the program the Ford techs use to diagnose and Repair vehicles. In the program there’s a ‘SW Updates’ Tab. It will list all the modules based on your VIN requiring updating. I also own a Ford Mach E. in that forum there are people with this...

My current list needing updating. Any help with getting reasons to update would be appreciated.

    Wireless charger continuous malfunction

There’s an update that might fix this issue. Tell the dealer you’re having issues with charging the newer iPhones. They’ll apply an update to the WACM module in FDRS.
