    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

Looks Great. I think that wheel design looks so dope on the 6th gen.

Super. That's exactly what I'll do.

Awesome. I'll put it in maintenance mode, install the new parts, take it out of maintenance mode, disconnect the battery, bleed the brakes. I have forscan to take it out of maintenance mode if necessary and clear codes. That sounds like a plan to me. . Thank you and @UNBROKEN for the help. I...

I planned on bleeding them with the 2 person method. A few people said it would be fine. Did you have issues that way?

I plan on putting in service mode. I'm just trying to figure out if it matters if I bleed the brakes in or out of service mode. There's literally no information online about this that I can find. I even looked through the shop manual. I cannot find a section for brake bleeding. I just didn't...

So you actually didn't put it in service mode? How did you bleed the brakes?

Awesome. I figured that. The ones I have actually have a slit cut through them. Thank you.

Awesome, thank you. Looks great. I was actually fortunate enough to get the dust shields too. The person I purchased from upgraded to a big brake kit.

So if installing new rear calipers, is maintenance mode necessary since the pistons are already fully retracted?

Thanks guys. Really appreciate the feedback. I'm not trying to overcomplicate this, I've just never dealt with a car with this much electronics and I'm just wanting to make sure I'm doing it right before getting into it. When bleeding the brakes, I would do this out of service mode, correct?

For the brake bleeding, am I able to use the old school 2 person method? This is how I've always done brakes. I've heard some say that it doesn't work on this? I also just watched Houston Speed Freaks YouTube video when he installed gt500 calipers. He didn't put it in maintenance mode at lol...

I actually spoke with the person I purchased from and he said he put the vehicle in maintenance mode before removing. It was so long ago he did it that he forgot the process of installation though.

Also, I'm doing some thinking. If the person I got these from didn't put their car into maintenance mode before removing, could that give me trouble?

Great. So I will also bleed the brakes while in service mode? The service manual I found got me a little confused.

Hello, I have non street package car and I purchased a set of takeoff street package calipers/brackets. I also have a set of powerstop z36 rotors and pads I'm installing. I just wanted the red brakes and less dust is why I'm swapping. I'm aware I need to put the car into brake maintenance mode...
