    Front end clunk/rattle

Just for the heck of it, check the under-carriage panels below the driver and front passenger seats. They cheaped out bad and these are only held on with clips in spots. They come loose and rattle bad over bumps. Just push them up and make sure they are attached directly to the underframe...

    Steering/Front End Popping Noise

I have 48k on my 2020. About 1000 miles ago, I noticed when turning hard right or left, I hear pops coming out of the steering/front end, especially in reverse. May be the CV joints, idk. I had this problem on my 2016 sport but not til 80k+. Anyone else experiencing this?

    rattling moonroof

Yes. I came here for this exact problem. So fricken annoying. I agree, gotta be the drains somehow. Mine is typically from the front right. I snaked the drain and it is clear. I am currently locating the drain hoses underneath the vehicle. Since it only happens at high speed I am wondering if...

Right side rattle at highway speeds

Thanks for posting this. I believe they actually got it right. Today I climbed under my ST and sure enough the underbody panels were loose on both sides, but more so the driver side. There was at least a half inch of space between the panel and the underbody, perfect for wind at high speed to...

Right side rattle at highway speeds

If you do pull the pillar panel up by the seatbelt assembly, watch out. The seatbelt device is a spring-loaded type. If it doesn't go back together exactly right, the belt will not retract. The noise in mine sounds like it is coming directly from that seatbelt assembly, which is why they...

Right side rattle at highway speeds

Yep. But mine left side. Sounds like it is in the pilar. Had all seatbelt parts replaced, no go. Though maybe outer molding cause of wind, nope. Pretty much at the end of my rope with this vehicle. Had it since Aug 2019. Now have 35000 miles. Since 3000 miles, have never had a day when something...

    20 ST-drivers seat clicking/rattle noise

I have no clicking out of my seat. Mine is a first run, purchased August of 2019. I am having a service advisor ride with me to try to figure out this pillar issue. It is getting worse. The faster I go the louder it gets. I love the vehicle but I have had way too many of these minor type...

    20 ST-drivers seat clicking/rattle noise

I have had this problem for a while. Like you I think it is coming from the pillar. At speeds above 50 I can put my ear to the seatbelt assembly on the pillar and I hear a very weird clicking or metal sound. Had a new seatbelt assembly put in, did not fix. Did you ever get it to stop?

    Sunroof vs no Sunroof

There is another issue that can cause moonroof rattles. The bottom of the screen has that slim bar the runs the length side to side. It attaches to 4 or 5 clips mounted to the roof. When mine started to rattle, I noticed the bar was not seated in the two passenger side clips, which allows it to...

    Exhaust Noise Issues

Ford finally put out a Bulletin on the exhaust noises. I had it performed, it did nothing. It was simply two clamps. I took the vehicle back and as we knew, the root cause is the flex pipe and mesh covers below the driver and passenger seats. Ford says they have no fix and would do nothing...

This Ford ST is turning out to be a major piece of SHI*!!

I had many of these same faults. After some digging it turned out to be the module connectors. To the technicians credit he did not think it was the modules so he looked at all my connectors. The tech told me these connectors have pins in them the module I guess plugs into. On two connectors...

    Exhaust Noise Issues

They replaced my left side exhaust up to the Y pipe. It fixed for 4-5K miles and the noises all returned. Took it back and they said the Ford warranty office would not authorize them to change it again. Hope yours works out better than mine has.

    Exhaust Noise Issues

Did they fix your exhaust? Mine is also only left side. I told them I was going to have an after-market shop remove those mesh spacers and add more hangers. They did talk me out of it saying they would not fix under warranty after that. They did say once the complaints add up they will address...

    Exhaust Noise Issues

Bought my ST last August. At 4000 miles, the exhaust began to rattle and vibrate horribly when the engine decelerated through 1500RPM. Took the vehicle in and they replaced the pipe section which contained a mesh covered spacer. Noise stopped. But...at 10000 miles it started again. Bought...
