Clearing the codes will temporarily fix the faults but if something is actually broke the codes will come back eventually.

All. My issue with the AWD was not the module. It was the electronic actuator on the intermediate shaft; reference TSB 23-2174. I have a 3rd party extended warranty and they approved the claim, just had to pay my deductible. Car has since been fixed; all issues gone.

I run the General Gmax 295 45 20 and I love them. Great tire all around, zero complaints so far.

A new module is like 200 bucks, where are they getting 1700 from? I had the TSB 23-2174 and I drove the car for awhile with no issues. Currently at shop for fix under extended warranty. Anyways, I had the same symptoms and car was fine. It'll probably disconnect your awd so it'll be rwd until...

Anyone have this issue and it just be the battery? I'm getting same thing but only comes on with adverse temp change (NE Ohio); like 5 degrees all January but yesterday was almost 50. Goes away after restarting vehicle. Doesn't come on with every drive.
