What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Warranty? What's that? The dealer has to prove that the aftermarket parts installed caused the initial problem.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

I purchased these rubber floor mats from Amazon for my 25. The price was low, so I didn't expect WeatherTech quality mats; however, I was rather surprised at how well they look and fit. Hopefully the last for at least a few years.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

I paid the retail price for the 4 parts at my local dealer and did it myself. Took about 4 hours to complete. The first side took 2.5 hours, and other side went a little faster since I knew what to expect. It's not for the faint of heart. I use to install car stereos and alarms decades ago...

No. I plan to install some 22x10.5" Velgen Wheels early next year.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

My 2025 is coming along. So far I have installed the Eibach lowering springs, Steeda Front and Rear sway bars with links, Steeda strut tower brace, Thermal R&D 3" Catback, removed the luggage racks, tinted the front door windows.

    Review: Thermal R&D 3" Catback

@Eljaber, thank you for sharing your input about the 2.5" Catback. Now I'm thinking of selling my 3" and buying the 2.5" based on your experience.

Review: Steeda front and rear sway bars, Steeda tower brace and Eibach lowering springs installed

@UNBROKEN, I wish I had read your reviews about the front sway bar before hand and saved myself hundreds of dollars. As far as the strut brace, I feel that the $200 plus easy installation made a difference in the way the front-end handles. It's a relatively cheap upgrade, easy installation...

    Review: Thermal R&D 3" Catback

A couple of weeks ago, I upgraded to the Thermal R&D 3" Catback system to give my ST the sound it deserves. The stock exhaust felt underwhelming, likely because of government noise regulations, and as someone who’s owned high-performance cars, I really missed that powerful, aggressive tone...

Review: Steeda front and rear sway bars, Steeda tower brace and Eibach lowering springs installed

I live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains where I have tons of great windy roads with fast switch backs. After driving my 25' ST stock for a couple of months, I figured it was time to work on the suspension. Reason: The SUV felt tall and top heavy when trying to take the turns at an...

Disable Auto Start/Stop on 2025 Explorer ST

If I can't figure out how to disable it using FORScan in the next month or two, I'll order it. Thanks for sharing!

Disable Auto Start/Stop on 2025 Explorer ST

How can I get the 2025 ST spreadsheets? Is there a function on FORScan that allows me to download the configuration settings? Some other settings I would like to set the auto stop/start feature to off, remove the turn signals noise (too loud), and turn off the seat belt reminders for the 2nd...

Disable Auto Start/Stop on 2025 Explorer ST

I successfully modified the parameters for ACM 727-01-02, changing the value from 2 to 4. However, I couldn't modify DSP 783-01-01 because it kept giving me a checksum error and wouldn't allow me to set the value to 2 as recommended. I won't be able to test if the change worked until later this...

Disable Auto Start/Stop on 2025 Explorer ST

I've tried Forscan to disable it on my 25' and it does not show up as an option. Neither does Driver and Passenger seat belt chimes. I also want to remove the fake exhaust noise, so I'm looking to see if that can be done as well. I was able to disable double honk leaving cabin and use front...
