You don't need to do a factory reset to get your Explorer started again. Just turn it off and let it sit for about 10 minutes and it will start and drive again.

I always pull out the pump as soon as it shuts off. So I don't believe this was the case here. Also this would run fine in Park. I could rev it up and it never sounded rough.

After setting it to manual, you still have to push the button either on the inside or at the liftgate to pop it open and then manually lift it.

The 2025 Explorer has the option to set the Power lift gate from Power to Manual. See attached picture.

That is what I am thinking too. I was hoping someone might know about a way of programming an option through the obd port somehow where it recognizes bluetooth presses as skip to next programmed station instead of seek.
