    I had a horrible screeching noise through my left front speaker after a car wash. I turned off my audio, waited a few minutes, turned my vehicle off and on, and the sound disappeared.     It was firmware only. They checked the hardware and connections but they were OK.

    Capital Ford in Charlotte. They recently started a mobile/pickup service for warranty issues. I was very persistent so that probably helped.

    Local dealer came to my house and completed the recall. It took about 2 hours toto check the hardware and re-program.

    Update on Hands Free Liftgate: Finally got a local dealer to try and fix my liftgate. Long story short, they picked up my ST and provided me a loaner. After 2 1/2 weeks, the dealer could not get it to work. They replaced all the parts, reprogrammed, and still nothing. I'll get my ST back...

    rattling moonroof

    I took it to a dealer and they fixed the foam pieces that hold the moonroof bar in place. Thank God they didn't need to take apart my moonroof. My ST now has a VERY quite ride.

    New SYNC Update 23188

    Update: Ford dealer replaced my APIM and I now have the new Sync version. Mine is under warranty and surprisingly, the dealer picked up my ST, fixed it, and dropped it off within 6 hours.

    New SYNC Update 23188

    I tried the update multiple times and finally took it to the dealer (still under warranty). They could not update it either and ordered a new AIPM. It's been 2 weeks so far waiting on the dealer to get the parts.
