    20" aftermarket wheel thoughts?

MikeyP, did you order those wheels direct or were you able to locate locally? I like the look but so far only found them on the RTR site.

    Need to Vent

Sorry to hear about your issues. Yes the seat position sensor is in a bad and fragile position. I added a pistol lockbox under the driver's seat and caused the same error message. When the seat moved back and forth on entry, the lockbox pulled the sensor out of the mounting clip on the seat...

    Cleaning Body Trim

Can't say about cleaning but once clean consider a protectant. I use Cerakote for car trim, and plastic trim looks brand new, even though car parked outside in sun. Used it on my previous car and my wife's MDX. After 2 years the MDX trim still cleans easy and looks great.

What would you have purchased if there were no Explorer ST?

Probably nothing as I was pretty happy with my Edge AWD and this was more of an impulse buy. We were looking at F-150, Tundra and 4Runner but F-150 or Tundra 4x4 w/ leather was a cost I just couldn't justify for a pickup, and the 4Runner is outdated. With that said, other than a few times...

    Flashing third brake light

[Q Sorry no video, and no pics from install. For install, remove the interior trim panel along top of rear glass. It is held by plastic retainers. Under it, you will see the wires going to the LED 3rd tail light. Peel back tape and cut the 2 wires, leaving enough on each side to splice...

    Flashing third brake light

I used this on all of my cars. Very easy install in Explorer. Amazon Stop Alert XP 60-X Brake Flasher

    Vertical Distortions In The Windshield

Mine has what I can only refer to as sparkles throughout the windshield, in an uneven pattern. I thought something was on the window, but cleaned and polished the glass and still present. It almost looks like something within the layers of glass, possibly a laminate issue. I will take it in...

    Chrome on window switches

Mine started this weekend, just under 2k miles. I almost want to leave it since the replacement switch will likely do it too, but it is very rough.

    Refueling Issue

No issues here but maybe try a different fuel station next time. My trade in was a 2016 Ford Edge AWD which had a similar issue but only at Costco. I had to partially insert the nozzle and hold it to avoid backpressure triggering the pump to shut off. Never had an issue anywhere else, so I...

Who's ST came with the undercover between the two mufflers??

Mine did not come with it either, but when the salesman and I looked under the 11 ST they had in stock, 4 had it. His manager didn't want to provide one until I pointed out, on the showroom floor in front of other customers, that it was a part that cost them $60.00 and I was spending...

Blacked out Ford logo stickers from Etsy

Just wanted to share my failures with the group. I too bought these from Etsy, great product. First attempt I used the baby shampoo and water solution, do not install wet. They never adhered. 2nd purchase I installed dry, rear went on great but in adjusting for a wrinkle on the front, I...

Disable Auto Stop / Start feature

I just wanted to add, for those concerned that the Autostop Eliminator makes the auto stop-start off permanently, it does not. This was the first mod to my ST, and all it does is makes the switch remember the last setting you had it in, so no more need to hit the button every time you start the...
