    Vibration Rattle

The studs are threaded and I removed the plastic fasteners and installed 1/4" flat washers and threaded nuts onto the stud. Pulls them up nice and snug. Also greased the studs to prevent seizing.

Vibration at 1k RPMs & Briefly at Idle

Please report back with results after the VCT work. I'm still chasing this vibration and dealer has now replaced transmission mounts but still the same as before. Thanks

    Ford Wheel Wrench

While trying to locate the source of this thumping in the front end at lower speeds (No luck), I decided to remove the front wheel for better access. Not sure if anyone has had a need to use the stock (So called) wheel wrench, but I would suggest you source a real wrench to carry with you...

Rattling noise coming from underneath new Explorer ST!

Isn't that interesting. Not sure how that gets rid of the thumping noise that sounds like suspension but this change you made obviously has made a difference. Anybody else experience this positive change when going to small tires? Since we're left to figure this out for ourselves all information...

    Camera Recall

I had the update to address the rear camera "Blue Screen" malfunction in reverse. It was intermittent (50%) of the time when I took it in. After I got it back it was better for two weeks or so but I'm right back to where I was. Perhaps it needs a new module to go with the software update...

Rattling noise coming from underneath new Explorer ST!

Thanks for update Medotechinc. I'm reading many dealer responses that Ford says this is normal thumping over rough surface at slow speeds. Not acceptable answer! A $65,000-$70,000 new vehicle should not sound like a worn out old truck on the front end. Where is Ford? We want to know what is...

    Camera Recall

I have the same issue but when reversing you can't be turning off the vehicle and restarting it to see behind you. Is Ford working on a fix? I'll try the alternate method on the audio controls in the meantime.

Rattling noise coming from underneath new Explorer ST!

Having the same noise issue over rough surface. Sounds like ball joints, wheel bearings, motor mounts or something significant. I have tightened the fastners on all the "Tupperware" air deflectors underneath and dealer tells me they can't find anything. Sounds like a worn out old truck with...

    Rear Camera

Purchased my ST in June 21 and now has 20,000 kms. Occasionally the rear camera view is not available in reverse and pops a message on the dash that says "Rear Brake Assist not available". If I turn the ignition off and restart the vehicle it reboots and everything works. Dealer has...
