Replaced cabin filter and found extra part?

Everything seems to look good and the recirculation works better than it did before. Oh and I got them to warranty the repair. Thanks again for all the info and support!

Replaced cabin filter and found extra part?

I took it to the dealership today. I politely shared I1tech’s last post to help point them in the right direction but mainly to show that I have a clue. Dealership just called to tell me they “fix it”. The bad news, it’s not warrantable since they didn’t change the air filter or it wasn’t done...

Replaced cabin filter and found extra part?

It is still under warranty thankfully! So is it a same day fix, provided they have parts? Would really love to see a schematic but I can’t seem to find one. I honestly expect the dealer to say, “it’s not that important, you don’t need it.” So any ammo to help get it fixed is what I’m looking...

Replaced cabin filter and found extra part?

Interesting. First time it’s been changed and as I said, it just fell into the location the filter was. So what does it do? Is it needed?

    Cabin Air Filter

Bought mine on Amazon, link below. It came next day. Much better quality than the OEM I pulled out. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BLYPRTY6?

Replaced cabin filter and found extra part?

Changed my cabin air filter for the first time. No issues getting it out. As I was unpacking the new filter this fell into the place the filter was. What is it and where does it go? Can’t find any diagrams.

    Transmission/Shifting Stall !!!!!!!

I hear you! I was there for months! OPEN a case with Ford customer support (800-392-3673)! We had similar issues where we would lose power and loud noises. The dealer called it limp mode. The Ford pass app gave a bunch of different errors - crankshaft sensor, timing sensor, powertrain or...

Poll: How many have experienced a "rear axle bolt fracture" (POLL CLOSED 6-4-22)

So with this installed could I safely get the e-brake fix turned off? Do you think a dealer would do it? If not then who?

    Transmission/Shifting Stall !!!!!!!

Opening a case with Ford is how we got action as well! HIGHLY recommend it! In my experience communication with Ford was a bit frustrating but it got the job done.

Poll: How many have experienced a "rear axle bolt fracture" (POLL CLOSED 6-4-22)

The resolution - have the PCM putting the ebrake on every time you put the vehicle in park - is BS! What a pain! With all the issues we have had with this vehicle it's not been worth it.

    Transmission/Shifting Stall !!!!!!!

Took 9 months but the issue ended up being the Cam shaft sensor. Once they replaced that the issue has stopped.
