Awesome. I picked up mine from Amazon a month ago, but I checked and they aren’t shipping directly from Amazon anymore. Got mine with free Prime shipping and there was no risk since I could send it back if it didn’t work. Worked out great though.

Thanks for the details on the oem muffler. I’m very happy I removed the resonators. It is 10x more enjoyable driving the vehicle now. Still debating, but a replacement borla or magnaflow may be an option on the future.

Very nice! I just removed the resonators yesterday, but left the oem muffler. It sounds similar. I was debating swapping out the muffler as well. I’ll live with the oem muffler for a little while and if I want more sound, will do the muffler swap. Do you have the oem muffler still? If so, I am...

Darn, sorry didn’t pay much attention and threw the boxes away. I was at the shop and I actually held a few different tips up to the explorer while it was on the rack to see what looked good. It’s hard to decide just off pictures unless you see it on the truck.

The shop had a good selection of tips. These are Flowmaster tips. I almost went with a set that was a little more slanted, but settled on these. I was almost going to get larger single tips on each side, but they didn’t look right in the cutouts on the rear valence.

I finally took it out on the freeway today. If you get on The throttle, then let off, it’s noticeable. I can’t make it go off very loudly when the car is in park because it limits my rpms to 4K or so. Overall, it was a fun purchase. $200+ for noise, but that’s what I bought it for.

Went to my local shop today. I removed the back 2 resonators and just ran “real” tips to the exit. I left the main muffler and piping intact for now. I like the sound and look. For $300, I think it was worth it.

Bought the dual port and installed today. Install was pretty easy if you remove the air box (100% worth removing.) I have to say, it hardly goes off when driving even in manual mode. When it does go off, it’s pretty quiet. I’ll put a week on it and report back. Maybe I’m just used to driving my...
