Vibration at 1k RPMs & Briefly at Idle

My 20 is doing the same thing. I think it’s the motor mounts. The dealer says there is nothing wrong with it.

    Chrome on window switches

I think they all peel. Any idea if the door panel has to come off to replace the switches? If it does I probably will just finish peeling the chrome off......

    Removed features from 2022

There is a u tube video I was looking at a while back on a ford Ranger that said if you remove the small wire on the positive battery terminal it will disable the auto stop/start. Might be worth checking into. However I have no idea if it will also mess with anything else.

    Oil catch cans

Correct. Through the throttle body. I have used it on other vehicles to dissolve build up on the valves. There is a utube video that shows how effective it is.

    Exhaust smell inside vehicle

I didn't have a problem with my 20 until the dealer disassembled the exhaust to check the left cat. Now I notice an exhaust smell and a "spatting" sound like an exhaust leak.

    Oil catch cans

Anyone ever use seafoam for this valve build up problem?

I wasn’t aware of that rear suspension change. I will read up on it. Thanks for the heads up!!!

To trade up to a 22 or not.......that is the question.

I usually keep my vehicles around awhile. [ Still have the black turbo coupe I bought new in '83]. I was all set to pull the trigger and order a 22 just like my 20 until I started reading the info about what has been removed. It sure has been a couple of trying years!!

To trade up to a 22 or not.......that is the question.

I am trying to decide whether to take advantage of the high trade in value on my 20 ST to get a 22. Pros.. new vehicle with less than 10 grand difference. Cons They seem to keep making these things with less options. not crazy about the black wheels that you have to have to get the 601A option...

    Wheels and Tires

I had a front axle boot clamp missing and a dead battery because the 20 ST sat a long time before I purchased it. 18,000 miles later it has given me zero problems. I guess I was born lucky. Just ask my wife.......

The dealer can disable the auto start for you. I had my battery fail on my 20 the first week. I asked them to disable it and they did.

    9/11 terrorist attacks.

I will never forget the helpless feeling I had in the pit of my stomach when I heard about the first plane hitting the twin tower. I was in a management training session about an hour away from home. Our training manager stopped the session and tuned a tv into the overhead projector. We watched...
